Magic Lantern Studio is a collective of artists, designers and performers based in Clonakilty, in the South-West of Ireland.

The main focus is on creating digital collages from original photographs. We also produce graphic design work for advertising and promotion, boudoir photography and costumes for carnival and theatrical productions.

We are largely influenced by the Art Nouveau movement, especially the work of Alphonse Mucha. We are also influenced by the Art Deco stylings of the '20's & '30's, particularly the works of Erte and photographer Alfred Cheney Johnston. Other inspirations include Irish artists Harry Clarke and Jim Fitzpatrick.

Future projects include the production of a graphic novella, and exhibitions in Europe.
